Day 6 of our 40 Day Fast and Focus- Maximize Before More!

If all your needs are met (warm, pillow, food, love) and yet you "can't get no satisfaction" in your life perhaps you need to determine if you're needy or "wanty." A disconnect between what you already have and what you really want is where most of us unhappily live. Today I want you to become as sure about what you already have as you are about what you really want.

Application: Want What You Have

1. Get Godly. 1 Timothy 6:6- But godliness with contentment is great gain. Most don't read or apply this scripture correctly. They try to be content before they try to be godly. You won't get to true contentment until you get godly. A godly behavior is to want what you already have before you ask for more. Luke 16:10 tells us when we are faithful in little God progresses us to more. Quit wanting more until you gratefully want and receive joyfully what you already possess.

2.  Accept little.  It's easy to think you'll do more when you have more. You won't. Until you accept God disguises big opportunities in little responsibilities you will continue to think incorrectly. You won't do well with the millions (even if the lottery "blesses" you with it) until you do well with your $50. The principle of firsts is as real as gravity. Learn to first maximize the little and you'll get the more. It's an irrefutable law.

Beloved, I am praying with and for you.
