I See Beauty

Isaiah 61:3
..and provide for those who grieve in Zion--to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Isaiah 50:4
The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.

I see beauty
Within not without
Beyond physical
Attributable
Internal
Eternal
Beyond
Irrespective of presentation
Covered, stained, thick -skinned, in pain
Bound, imprisoned,without liberty
He wounded me skillfully
Using me
Trained humane eyes
TO SEE
A display of His splendor
Hidden beneath
Weight, care, despair
I see beauty
Possibility
I see you
